    MMinMI's Note:

    Wow! Great combination of flavors and textures! Made this salad for New Years Eve after having it at my cousins house this holiday season. Had many requests for the recipe so I am posting it here for all to enjoy! Dressing makes enough for about 4 salads!

    Directions:

      In a small bowl, mix ketchup, vinegar, sugar and salt. Gradually pour in oil, stirring constantly, until well blended.

      In a large serving bowl, toss together lettuce, blue cheese, pears, walnuts, and red onion. Pour dressing over salad, and toss well to coat.
