    mliss29's Note:

This was inspired by the Vita-Mix man at my local Costco. He was throwing all kind of stuff in his super-duper blender. He was right: my puny blender can't completely puree citrus membranes, but this still tastes good.

Gotta admit that I changed a few of the ingredient amounts since I really didn't want to use the water ~ I used a whole grapefruit, a large navel orange, 2 cups of frozen strawberries & the 3 bananas, along with a cup of OJ & ended up with enough smoothie for 2 tall glasses, & a VERY NICE DRINK, it was, thank you! This is the first time I've had a smoothie that included grapefruit. It's a bit of a chore removing the seeds, but well worth it. This just may be the most delicious smoothie I've ever tasted!

WOW! This is really, really GOOD. I thought the flavors were balanced perfectly and this looks just like the pics! I halved this recipe, used partially thawed frozen unsweetened strawberries, frozen, slightly thawed banana slices, and a fresh orange and a fresh grapefruit. My orange and grapefruit were small so I used half the grapefruit and half its juice, and the entire orange. I used half a cup of water. This was so perfect and very refreshing, thanks so much for psting!
