  • Mix all ingredients in a medium pot, bring to a boil and reduce to low-medium heat to simmer for 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve with whole grain - toast, rice, quinoa, rolls, etc. Freezable.

  1. This is easy and delicious! I have also used leftover jarred tomato sauce for a little extra flavor and this also works in a crockpot on low for a couple of hours if you want to make it in advance of dinnertime.
