I enjoyed the flavor of this however, the texture was way too smooth for my taste. I would have preferred it to be chunkier like traditional spinach dip. I will make it again but try pureeing it less next time.
Really liked the taste of this - didn't even miss the cream cheese which is commonly used. I added a bit more tofu than suggested. Overall a really great recipe.
really good as a jumping off point, but, way too much lemon - i'll try it again with 1/4 to 1/2 the amount
This is one of those snacks I can't stop eating once I start! But I don't have to feel guilty because it is low-fat and full of nutrients. Thank you so much for posting this! By the way, I added a large dollop of Veganaise to make it creamier. Edited June 1, 2008: A year later, this is still one of my favorite snacks. Recently I added 3 artichoke hearts and half a can of sliced black olives just because they were in my fridge. I thought these additions really enhanced the flavor.
