  • In saucepan, bring rhubarb and water to a boil.
  • Add sugar& cinnamon, return to boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 10-15 minutes or until sauce reaches desired consistency.
  • Put in freezer containers and freeze.

  1. Finally a recipe that I tastes as "good as my mom made!!" Since I have never eaten this before I had nothing to compare this too, but the hubby was raised with it. After cooking, which could a recipe be any more simple...the hubby ate a bowl of it alone. Delicious.

Grandma to a ton of kids and a step great grandma and still going strong. Love to cook, came to Wisconsin from Illinois 33 years ago and bought a resort and cooked 2 meals a day for about 20-40 people. Served American style. Loved it course I was younger then but sure did meet quite a few wonderful people and most were repeaters every year.
