I really liked this. The simple yet rich taste of olive oil and garlic are two of my favorites. The breadcrumbs added a nice texture to the dish. I keep thinking about this recipe. Maybe I'm wierd. This recipe is different from the ordinary pasta recipe, but it is just wonderful. I put lots of garlic in it and I added extra olive oil. Next time I make it I will probably cut the bread crumbs down to 3/4 cup. But I just have to reiterate, this dish stays on your mind. Good Job Paula

I love garlic but, I found that it dominated the taste a bit too much. I would suggest adding a bit of ginger in place of about half the garlic.

We loved this recipe. It was easy, quick, and really tasty. After a long day out, this was done in one pot, almost as quickly as the pasta boiled. (Drained the pasta, made the breadcrumb topping in the same pot.) I used a squash-stuffed mezzaluna pasta and added just a bit of butter to make sure that the breadcrumbs were well saturated. The amount of garlic and red pepper flakes were just right for us. I used homemade breadcrumbs and thought that it was perfect. As you suggested, the dusting of parmesan was terrific. My kids loved it, my husband loved it...Thank you for sharing.
