Not a fan. I don't like orange juice, so i used strawberry banana juice...i doubled the juice/cinnamon/sugar to make enough to cover the tofu, but it didn't flavor the tofu very much...tasted like i was eating soggy tofu on toast.
I tried this recipe without the toast (I am on a low-carb diet) and found the tofu to be very sour (because of the orange juice) and not sweet enough. I will try this recipe again, and will increase the amount of brown sugar. (I actually used Splenda brown sugar)
It's like a quick French toast! I did make some modifications for personal preference: 1/4c OJ, 1/2t cinnamon, 1/2t maple syrup, and about 3oz extra-firm tofu. It was perfect for me! I had it on honey whole wheat toast with a banana. A very satisfying breakfast!
Awesome! Nice to have a sweet, orangy breakfast without all the fat in breakfast rolls.
