    Ingredients:

    Servings:

    • 2 cups fresh orange juice
    • lemon, juice of
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 cup sugar

    Directions:

    1. 1
      Heat 1 cup of water and the sugar in a saucepan until dissolved.
    2. 2
      Bring to a boil, simmer 2 minutes and leave to cool.
    3. 3
      Stir the orange juice and lemon juice into the sugar syrup.
    4. 4
      Chill the mixture.
    5. 5
      Freeze the mixture in an ice cream machine using it according to manufacturers' instruction.

      This was refreshing. But A little too sweet for our family. Next time I will cut the sugar in half.

      Bit sweet but adding juice of half a lemon made it perfect. I served it surrounded by a moat of quite bitter chocolate sauce and that too helped.
