A very simple and delicious smoothie made with ingredients you probably have on hand. You may change the berries to your favorite. Adapted from whole living.
- 2 navel oranges, peel and pith removed, cut into chunks
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 teaspoon ground flax seed (optional)
- Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth, adding flaxseed if desired.
- Pour into 2 glasses and enjoy.
Made this for an afternoon treat for my DSs and it went over well. I left out the flax seed and added whipped cream to the top. May try with strawberries rather than raspberries next time since DSs are not big fans but mixed with the blueberries and oranges they enjoyed it. Made for My 3 Chefs.
