    This side dish is so simple and yummy. It’s a great idea for when you want something on a work night or for company. This was passed on to me but I believe it originated fro the Lipton's onion soup box. Enjoy!

    Ingredients:

    • 6 red potatoes , washed and quartered
    • 1 (1 ¼ ounce) package dry onion soup mix
    • ¼ cup butter (or margarine)
    • ¼ teaspoon parsley
    • ½ cup water

    Directions:

      1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

      2. Add potatoes, onion soup, butter and water and sprinkle with parsley to a casserole dish.

      3. Bake for 60 minutes or until potatoes are soft.

      For a fast version, pop the dish in the microwave and cook for 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft.
