I'm sorry to say that something went wrong for me on this recipe. I followed recipe closely, and chose to cook in the oven rather than on the oiled griddle. I had to cook a bit longer, and still did not end up with a crispy cracker. It is more like a really, really hard and chewy thin bread. I'm sure I rolled these out thin enough. Perhaps the oven method is not the way to cook. I have a suspicion that they would have crisped up better in the skillet.
