Ratings & Reviews:
I have to agree that a new chef would be lost with this recipe. I used 1 package of boil in the bag brown rice, 4 oz can of mushrooms, 1/2 of an onion, chopped, 2 TBS olive oil and soy sauce to taste. I also added some garlic powder to taste and topped with green onion. Very good side dish for our Chinese dinner. Thanks for posting!

I agree with Missy WB. Without detail of amount of ingredients the recipe could be challenging for a new chef. As with a lot of rice dished you can add ingredients. In addition to the stock and the capsicum I added snap peas. The result, said my wife, was better than fried rice. Instructions 3, result 5.
