It took me forever to come up with a frappuccino recipe that tasted like it came from a coffee shop. most people say theirs taste like Starbucks, but it doesn't. This actually tastes like Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks, and is so easy.
This saved me lots of calories and money and has cured me of my McDonald's frappe mocha addiction! Very good...perfect consistency when I added 1 cup ice plus 2 more ice cubes. Made it with 1/2 cup 1% milk, 1Tablespoon Truvia, made the strong coffee with 1/3 cup warm water and 1 tsp decaf instant, did use the 2 T syrup ( 100 cal) and also added 1 tsp cocoa powder. Overall, this HAS to beat 450 + calories from Micky D's!

Excellent and rivals any you might get at a coffee shop. I added in an extra tablespoon of chocolate syrup. I also concocted a couple simple, yet common variations. Java Chip Mocha Frappuccino: add 2 slightly heaping tablespoons chocolate chips. Peanut Butter Mocha Frappuccino: add 1-2 Tbsp. peanut butter (optional: 1 Tbsp. chocolate chips).

I made this recipe today and it is wonderful! So refreshing on a hot summer day. I used a little more ice than called for so it was a little too icy..my bad! I used my cold brew coffee concentrate (1/3 cup regular Yuban or your choice and 1 1/2cups bottled water, steep 12-24 hours on the counter, strain through coffee filter into jar) and it worked perfectly as a sub for double strong brewed coffee. Thanks, meaty, It'll be a perfect pick-my-up this summer.
