  1. This is a wonderful recipe for salsa! It DOES make enough to feed a crowd! It's light, refreshing, spicy and soooooo tasty. I served this with grilled chicken and fesh tortillas and it was just amazing. Thanks for posting.

  2. I made this awhile back and loved it! It made enough I gave some to my married daughters and their families went crazy over it! I told my older daughter to put it over fish or chicken! The younger one ate it with Empanadas that I made and she's hounding me to make some more! So guess what I'm doing? I'm one of those people that finds eating the same ole thing boring and I wanted to make some Latin food so this was great and a real keeper! I'm planning on making it for the Holidays this winter because it's so good and the color would be pretty on the table during that time of the year! Thanks so much for a GREAT recipe!

  3. Amazing recipe. Thought about putting garlic in there, but decided against it. I will try that eventually, but it is great without.

  4. Took this to a party, and everyone loved it--had several ask for the recipe. Thank you! I used two cans of tidbits pineapple and a large red onion, since that's what the local grocer had--I threw in the whole chopped onion without thinking about it, and though the salsa still (obviously) tasted marvelous, I was still tasting the red onions later. I suppose I should've added more mango. Planning on making this again in the very near future--with a medium red onion...

I'm a software engineer living in Wilmington, Delaware. I'm originally from the South (north Florida), so I was raised on good old Southern cooking. I started cooking when I was 7 and have always loved to experiment and put my own twist on the dishes I make. While traveling and living in different places I've discovered a number of wonderful cuisines - Cuban, Thai, Greek, Indonesian, Indian, et al. I have a few dishes from each cuisine that I do really well. I love to experiment with recipes. One of my favorite things to do is figure out how a dish I like is made. If I have something at a restaurant that I really like I'll experiment at home until I come up with a creditable equivalent. It's great to be a member of this community. Where else could you find recipes from people living in every corner of the world? I love it! All of the recipes I've posted here are original unless stated otherwise in the description.
