Lemonade

"I make this all summer long. I don't know if the kids like it as much as I do but it doesn't last long. I like a bit more lemon juice also, but then again I like Tart."

  1. This was so simple to make. A hint to get the most juice from your lemons, roll them on the counter top for a while and then squeeze. I also cut up two limes and added them to the pitcher of lemonade. Fantastic drink. Very refreshing.

  2. Perfect! It took 4 regular size lemons to make about a cup and a half juice. Just the right amount of tart and sweet. Thank you!

  3. Hit the spot! Very refreshing accompaniment to our Southern Buttermilk Bonanza meal. Thanks for posting this recipe.

  4. We use less water (5 ½ cups) and less sugar (3/4 cup) for a tarter lemonade. Delicious! :)

Tweaks

  1. I added some frozen strawberries

  2. Its good 10 out of 10 but I cut my finger during the process But it was worth it,It was sour but my mom put more water and sugar and made it perfect.:p

  3. Now after you are done, take 1 large orange, slice into rounds and put that into the lemonade instead of the slices of lemons.

  4. I also found the sugar couldn't dissolve properly so I used icing sugar instead. Around 1 3/4 cup to 2 cups does the trick.
