This is a perfect cider. I added the ingredients to my large crockpot and simmered for my holiday party. It was such a success that I made more for Christmas Eve with family. I didn't include the rum in the heated mixture, and just allowed my guests to add their own into each mug and provided extra cinnamon sticks for stirring. Mmmm...this smells wonderful and tastes even better.

Amazing!! I've made this again and again, minus the brown sugar (although it would be awesome with it in too...we just don't like cider that sweet) and with spiced rum. Awesome fall/winter drink. Thank you so much!

Yummy! Really good, even on a warm election night.

Perfect concoction! Wonderful aromas and full flavor, not too sweet either. I added a splash of butterscotch liquore in ours and it was just so comforting.

Very tasty and easy hot cider! I made one serving by making 1/6 of the recipe! I substituted cinnamon syrup for the stick & used a small pinch of ground nutmeg. Then I just put it in the microwave until hot! I thoroughly enjoyed the cider on this cold day!
