This is from Eat Better America, I didn't care for the toppings listed but this pizza crust sounded good and doesn't call for yeast. Can be easily made vegan with soymilk or a nut milk, or using water or broth in place of the milk.
In medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk and oil until soft dough forms. If dough is dry, stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons additional liquid.
3
On lightly floured surface, knead dough 10 times. Shape dough into ball. Cover with bowl; let stand 10 minutes.
4
Place dough on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten slightly. Roll out to 12-inch round pizza pan. Poke holes in the dough with a fork.
5
Bake 8 minutes at 400°F, then put on the toppings and bake for another 20-25 minutes until they are cooked.
We loved it!!!! Friday night is our family pizza night, currently I have 2 home made crusts I use, one thick and one thin. However I was out of yeast so I did a search for one w/o yeast and was nervous about trying it. This recipe is Super easy, has great directions and tastes Wonderful!!!! We were very surprised so now I have 3 recipes to rotate!!! Thank You!!! We loved the crispiness of it. The only negative it was a little small so I may do one and a half recipes next time, an easy fix! The thin crust one I use is different and very easy, we love it- Recipe #290968, it comes out a little chewy but tastes Great, I recommend building like the directions w/ spots of sauce on top of the cheese- sounds strange but awesome on that crust! Well, Thank You we will make again my husband loved it!
