This is a very tasty salad! It is important to mix the vinegar with onions, pepper & salt first and than add the oil, as other way around the seasoning can not mix with the oil and the salad is not as full of its wonderful flavors.

A fine summer salad, Miller. I made this salad with fresh, farmer's market tomatoes, and Texas 1015 sweet onions. I made this salad just as you suggested, and it was SWELL!! I only marinated the salad about 1 hour to keep the tomatoes from losing their "just picked" flavor.
Thanks for another keeper.

Very easy salad - I would like a little more herb in the Oil & Vinegar perhaps some oregano Salad was served with some canned salmon on the side
