I followed the recipe exactly, and we loved the orange flavor of the rice. I served it with Asian food, and that worked very well. This will go in my favorites cookbook to make again and again.

An interesting change from white rice-we had this with grilled chicken, red onion and mint kebabs #133984. I made a half batch with basmati rice, using 1 cup orange juice and 1 cup water. The fresh citrusy taste was very refreshing. My kids and dh did not like it, but I did. I'm planning to make the leftovers into rice pudding which will be awesome! Thanks!

Had this tonight with shrimp and it was a perfect complement!!! I loved the citrus flavor. I added some zest to the tops as a garnish on the plates! Beautiful and tasty! Thanks Cookgirl!

I really liked it! My oranges were a little juiceless....so I used a little OJ, I served it with lemon chicken (lol) but maybe next time...do the same as previous review...and make it a dessert pudding!! Thanks cookgirl!!

The aroma is wonderful! I made the mistake of adding the zest to the rice while cooking which gave it a slight bitter taste. The addition of salt corrected it. I wish a through in a cinnamon stick! If I didn`t use chicken broth I would have made rice pudding with the leftovers. So keep in mind if you want to make extra for dessert! A nice change from white rice! Thanks!
