This combination of beer and gin has been around for many a year. This is the closest you will get to the oldfashioned Dickensian classic using modern technology. Best of both worlds!
- Pour the stout into a large, sturdy glass and heat it in a microwave for about 1 minute.
- Add the brown sugar and gin and stir lightly.
- Grate a little of the nutmeg on top.
