      The flavor of this sorbet was really good, but it was SOOOO SWEET. I think next time I'll cut the sugar a bit. I served this semi hard over the top of vanilla ice cream instead of just eating it by itself and it was really great.

      Incredible flavor-easy recipe! I simmered the blueberries in the simple syrup (I think this intensifies the flavor) before cooling it. Once cool I added the lemon juice and put it all in the blender. It froze to a great consistency in my ice cream maker and was a big hit with my family. My aunt said it was the best sorbet she has ever tasted!

      This is amazing. I used brown sugar and fresh berries. My children had it for lunch and begged me to make more for dinner!

      Wonderful! I don`t have an ice cream machine so I used my vita mix making 1/2 the amount. I placed the sugar and lemon juice in the blender and blended till sugar dissolved adding a couple tablespoon of cold water to get it going. Then I added frozen berries. And I had sorbet in no time. I had no cooking or waiting for the ice cream machine to do it job. I still have some in the freezer which I just got up and had a taste. Yummy, cool, refreshingly sweet. I can`t wait till tomorrow I think I`ll have it for breakfast! The picture was taken outdoors in 85 degrees with the grill going behind me! Thanks!

      I agree with Logically Locked...definitely too sweet. That may have been partially due to some amazingly sweet blueberries...the best Ive had in years. While it was churning I tasted it and decided to turn it into sherbet and cut the sweetness. I added about 1/3-1/2 cup of heavy cream and its awesome.
