Before this recipe, I had never made fish tacos before. I had never eaten fish tacos either. Hubby and I were a little leary, but once we took the first bite, we were sold! This recipe is so darn yummy! I didn't have time to marinate the fish, but it still turned out tasty. Definitely adding it to our rotation. Very easy to follow.

I love fish tacos, and this was a good one. I added some garlic powder to the fish, and increased the spices as noted. I skipped the avocado, as I don't care for it, and used sour cream mixed with lime juice instead. A very good meal, it was satisfying, yet still felt light. Thanks for posting!

I use a whole lime. I also added a mashed garlic glove, cumin powder, cayenne, garlic, and onion powder. The first time I made this (copied from people magazine) I misread the amounts and added 1 tablespoon of the spices, it was EXACTLY what it needed. My hubby made it the next time and I was like, 'hey why is it so bland'. Also I mashed my cilantro into my avocado and spread on the tortilla first when assembling to hold the fish in place.
