      Cut cherry tomatoes in half and cut jalapeno pepper into 5 slices (or use canned slices).
    2. 2
      Thread cherry tomatoes and jalapeno onto skewer with two pieces to tomato in their 'natural' orientation with the jalapeno slice in between.

      Cook over oiled medium BBQ plate for 5 minutes or so turning occasionally.

      Nice little spicy bites. I did add my own touch with a small slice of bocconcini cheese between the tomato halves (no bigger than the size of the jalepeno pepper). These are great for a quick appetizer. {Made and reviewed for NZ/AUS recipe swap #28, May '09}.
