- 5 ripe bananas
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 2 cups wholemeal flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
directions
- Preheat oven to 170'C.
- Mash bananas in a bowl and add sugar and vanilla until combined.
- Add water.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, soda, powder and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix.
- Grease bread pan and pour mixture inches I added some shredded almonds on top.
- Bake for an hour.
