      While I agree that as posted this recipe is not vegetarian (I looked it up and the original blog recipe called for beans in tomato sauce), it is in fact tasty! I ended up combining everything except the pasta and letting it simmer on low for 20 minutes or so to meld the flavors, while I cooked the pasta. Once the pasta was done, I just stirred it in with the other ingredients and served. For the barbecue sauce, I used recipe #267313 and I used about 1/2 tsp Cholula hot sauce. This made a yummy lunch today (and will for the next few days too! :) ) Thanks for sharing!

      How can this be a Vegan...or even vegetarian recipe when it contains Pork and Beans? Heinz used to make canned beans that were the same as Pork and Beans but without the Pork. Have not been able to find them in a very long time. Sounds like a good recipe other than that.
