Very easy and very tasty. I can't stop eating them! I used sugar and egg and I was out of whole wheat flour so I used all purpose. I was out of parchment paper so I used foil that I sprayed with cooking spray. DEFINITELY use spray if you use the foil. I didn't get it well coated on one side of one pan and those cookies stuck a bit. They are not very sweet but they are yummy, esp. warm right out of the oven. One DD says they taste like apple crisp, the other thinks they need ice cream. I was planning on taking some to work for my break but I don't think they will make it through the night. I made mine small (tsp sized) and I got about 36 cookies. They don't spread at all so I could have put more on a sheet at a time. I may try putting them in a small baking dish to make them thicker and then cut them into bars. These are better than any store bought bars, by far. This is a keeper!

These are quite tasty without being overly sweet or cookie like. I'd say they are more of an oatmeal bar than a cookie though. I used honey and stevia instead of Splenda. Also added some pecans. Mmm!

One of the nicest tasting cookies I've made, & I make a lot of them, though mostly for sharing with others! I especially appreciated the combo of rolled oats & whole wheat flour here! Definitely a keeper of a recipe thanks to your posting! [Made & reviewed for one of my adoptees in the current Pick A Chef event]
